You want to quit smoking at your pace? You can do it! Smoking cessation centres provide one-on-one support that is adapted to your needs. They can help you cut down or quit using tobacco products.
What services are available?
Our services are:

- One-on-one, effective, and adapted to your reality

- Provided by specialized counsellors
The program offered by counsellors at our smoking cessation centres:
- Meetings in person at the CLSC or by phone
- Meetings that last about one hour, weekdays or in the evenings
- Some of the topics discussed:
- The profile smokers and vapers
- Motivation
- Symptoms of nicotine withdrawal
- Action Plan
- Prescriptions for pharmacological aids reimbursed by the RAMQ (nicotine patches and gum)
- Stress management
- Healthy life habits
- Relapse prevention
- Practical and effective tools and resources
- Referral to other CLSC resources, as needed
