Resting electrocardiogram

As of October 16, 2023

Resting electrocardiograms (ECG) at the Lakeshore General Hospital will be available by appointment only.

As of October 2, you will be able to make your appointment on Clic santé.

What to bring to your appointment:

• Referral given to you by your doctor
• The name of your doctor and the clinic
• Health insurance card
• Hospital card

Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (except statutory holidays)
• From 1 pm to 3 p.m. 

Other Examinations

For an echocardiogram, Holter test, or ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, you need to make an appointment directly with the Cardiology Department and provide the requisition from your cardiologist or family physician.

The hospital will then call you so set a date and time for the exams. They will be done at:

• Ambulatory Centre, Main Entrance, Ground floor

The following services are available at the LaSalle Hospital:

• Echocardiogram
• Holter test
• Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
• Exercise electrocardiogram
• Resting electrocardiogram

Ultrasound

You can make an appointment for an echocardiogram by calling the Radiology Department at  514-362-8000, extension 31540

Other Examinations

For electrocardiograms or a Holter test, you need to make an appointment directly with the Cardiology Department and provide the requisition from your cardiologist or family physician.

The hospital will then call you so set a date and time for the exams. They will be done at:

• The Cardiology Department, Reception Room 5–1825
• Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (by appointment only)

The following examinations are available at St. Mary’s Hospital Centre:

• Echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound)
• Holter test
• Exercise electrocardiogram (stress test)
• Resting electrocardiogram (ECG)

Once we receive your request, a member of our team will contact you to schedule the date and time of your exam.

Resting ECG (no appointment needed)

A resting electrocardiogram (ECG) does not require an appointment.

Simply bring your medical referral to: Department of Medical Electrophysiology (1^st Floor)
