Naloxone is a medication that is used as an antidote for opioid overdose.
Naloxone is safe and can be given to people of all ages. It has no effect if the person has not taken opioids and is not addictive.
You can refer to the government’s web page to learn how to use naloxone properly and for what to do in the event of an opioid overdose.
