Various evidence-based programs are implemented on our units, such as:
- Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome,
- Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently (MOREOB) national obstetrics initiative promoting patient safety and quality care;
- Hema-Québec Public Cord Blood Bank.
We adhere to the vision of the Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI), a quality infant care program whose goal is to ensure the best possible start in life. The BFI ensures care environments where breastfeeding is the norm, by implementing breastfeeding-friendly practices.
