Services

Emergency vaccination for tetanus and rabies is available in our Points de service locaux.

A tetanus vaccine may be recommended following certain types of cuts or wounds, depending on when you received your last tetanus vaccine.

Rabies is usually transmitted from infected animals to people through bites or scratches.

If you are unsure, call Info-Santé at 811, as soon as possible.

We also administer rabies and tetanus immune globulin to anyone who may have been exposed to either. An assessment will be performed by a nurse.

Who can receive these vaccines?

In an emergency, the tetanus and rabies vaccines are free for everyone.
