Useful information
- The Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) covers most hospitalization charges for Québec residents.
- Some services and medical treatments are not covered by the RAMQ. If you require such services or treatments, you will be informed. If you have private insurance, you must check to see if they will cover them.
- The hospital is not responsible for decisions by insurance companies about the reimbursement of services that are not covered by the RAMQ.
- If such charges are applicable, you must pay them before receiving those services.
