Primary care access point (GAP)

What is the GAP?

The primary care access point (GAP) is a service offered exclusively to those who DO NOT have a family doctor and who are registered on the Québec Family Doctor Finder (GAMF) waiting list

This new service provides orphan patients (individuals who do not have a family doctor) with a better assessment of their healthcare needs so that they may be referred to a healthcare professional who can manage their needs.

Eligibility criterias

This new service will be rolled-out across the West Island in phases, starting with those who do not have a family doctor and are registered on the Québec Family Doctor Finder (GAMF), and also based on priority

The Primary Care Access Point (GAP) is now open to those currently registered on the Québec Family Doctor Finder (GAMF).
