How do I know if my software is up to date?
If you are using equipment provided by the CIUSSS, you can accept update requests when prompted. If using personal equipment, go to the settings menu regularly to check for software or device updates.
The importance of software updates
Now more than ever, we must keep our systems up to date if we want to secure our equipment and protect our data. By doing so, we will be better equipped to prevent malware.
Reminder
- Install software patches for any system software you have. A patch is an update that fixes a known vulnerability, which is why it is important to install them as soon as possible.
- Check for update notifications regularly. Manual action may be required!
