SIL-P—Coming Soon to all CIUSSS Facilities!

The provincial laboratory information system, known as the Système d’information de laboratoire provincial (SIL-P), which has been in use at the Lakeshore General Hospital for more than a year now, will be gradually rolled out across all Santé Québec Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal facilities by the end of 2025.

The SIL-P offers several tangible benefits:

• Complete traceability of samples
• Faster processing times
• Improved delivery of test results to health professionals and users
