Research and Regulatory Affairs Support Unit (RRASU)

About Us

The Research and Regulatory Affairs Support Unit (RRASU), a service unit in the Academic Affairs and Innovation Directorate, supports the Research Ethics Board and the mandated person, as well as the research centres, researchers and directorates, in launching and participating in research activities. The RRASU’s role is the preparation, deployment and oversight of the application of the institution’s regulatory framework in research, all in compliance with the reference frameworks. It also provides the necessary administrative support to key players in the performance of their mandate.

RRASU Website

RRASU has its own website. All information and documents relating to research supervision and ethics can be found at the following address: https://comtl-daai.com/fr/user/ (in French only).

Research Regulatory Framework

Any person conducting research activities on the Institution's site must register in compliance with the Institution's regulatory framework. This regulatory framework consists of by-laws, policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines and procedures in view of establishing standards that contribute to the excellence of research.

It is the responsibility of any person (i.e. researcher, research staff, student) conducting research activities in the Institution to consider the regulatory framework.

All information relating to the regulatory framework and related documents are available on our website in the Documentation section, under Documents du cadre (in French only).

Submit a Project

RRASU is the gateway to submit any research project that must be conducted in the Institution in view of its implementation and monitoring. The steps to follow are outlined on our website, in the Procédures section (in French only).
