Information for interns

Welcome  to CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal (CIUSSS ODIM) for your internship.

To this end, we invite you to complete your profile on the STAGE+ internship management platform before the start of your internship, as well as to fill out your criminal record declaration and the confidentiality consent form available in STAGE+.

Access card

As part of your internship, you'll need an access card (also known as an identity card). The procedure requires that this card be prepared at the security department of one of the CIUSSS ODIM sites. 

If you are doing an internship at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and at St. Mary's Hospital Centre

If your internship will take place at Batshaw Youth and Family Centers:

  • A form with your information will be e-mailed to you before the start of your internship; 
  • Present yourself at the card collection site with this form in hand. Please refer to the file “Sites pour la récupération de carte d'accès” to find out where to pick up your card

If your internship will take place at a site other than those listed above: 

  • We have already contacted the relevant departments, so that your access card will be ready when you arrive on the 1st day of your course. 
  • Please refer to the “Sites pour la récupération de carte d'accès” file to find out where to collect your card

Softweb Plus Training

This note is intended for the following profiles:

  • Nurses,
  • Auxiliary Nurses,
  • Dieticians/Nutritionists,
  • Pharmacists,
  • Radiology Technologists,
  • Physiotherapists,
  • Administrative Officers (clinical sector),
  • Nuclear Medicine Technicians,
  • Medical Archivists,
  • Duty Assistants,
  • NP nurses,
  • Psychologists,
  • Midwives,
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Medical Secretaries.

The trainee, at those sites, must complete the SIL-P training course, and answer the following questionnaire, before the start of the course

  • Lakeshore General Hospital
  • Lac-Saint-Louis Birthing Centre,
  • Batshaw Youth and Family Centers at Beaconsfield,
  • Ste. Anne's Hospital
  • Centre d'hébergement Denis Benjamin Viger,
  • CHSLD Stillview (2nd et 3rd floors) and
  • Aire Ouverte Kirkland

Passing grade:

A score of 8/10 is required for access to the SoftWeb Plus platform. In the event of failure, the trainee will be contacted to repeat the questionnaire until a passing grade is obtained.
