How to prevent heat-related health issues?
- Drink plenty of water, even if you’re not thirsty;
- Spend 2 to 3 hours a day in a cool place, ideally one that is air-conditioned;
- Take at least one cool shower or bath per day, or frequently cool your skin with a wet towel;
- Reduce physical exertion;
- Never leave a child alone in a car or in a poorly ventilated room, even for a few minutes.
