As of May 1, the shingles vaccine will be available, free of charge, to adults 80 years of age and older and immunocompromised adults 18 years of age and older. At our CIUSSS, this service will be available in the following locations:
- RioCan Kirkland Vaccination and Testing Centre
- Galeries Lachine Vaccination and Testing Centre
- CLSC de Pierrefonds
While the shingles vaccine is also recommended for adults 50 to 79 years old, it is not free.
The vaccination teams are also planning on visiting the CHSLDs.
