Catch the Presentation on Transforming Seniors’ Health through Innovation

A MIAM (moment de l’intelligence artificielle à midi or AI lunchtime learning) entitled Innover pour repenser la santé de nos aîné·es (Transforming Seniors’ Health through Innovation) will take place on September 24 from noon to 1:00 p.m. It will look at healthcare innovations that adapt to users’ changing needs, work with limited resources, handle complex issues, and treat each senior as an individual.

An interdisciplinary team will focus on the competency of applying the healthcare innovation cycle in their project presentation:

  • Mathieu Brodeur, Associate Director—Home Care Support, CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
  • Caroline Carignan, Nurse clinician and interim assistant to the immediate supervisor at the CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis, CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
  • Dr.Quoc Dinh Nguyen, Geriatrician and clinical researcher, CHUM
  • Valérie Larochelle, Co-founder and executive director of Eugeria.

They will showcase geriatrics technologies, with a focus on their experience deploying the Idem smart clock for seniors, supported by the CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis and the CLSC de Pierrefonds of the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.
