The Regional Public Health Department, together with the emergency physicians of the CHU-Sainte-Justine and the Direction régionale d’accès aux services médicaux de proximité, created a tool to help parents when their children are sick.
The tool, entitled Infections in Children: When and Where to Seek Help? includes:
- Recommended resources to consult when dealing with health issues.
- Useful information about fever, influenza, and gastroenteritis.
- Conditions that require a trip to Emergency Department or a call to 9-1-1.
