Each day, many informal caregivers face an array of challenges. That includes the many individuals who often don’t recognize that they are informal caregivers.

But what exactly is informal caregiving? And who is an informal caregiver? What are the main challenges they face? To answer those questions and many others, the Vaccination, Screening, Public Health, and Community Care Directorate has created a series of videos on the topic.

Did you know that informal caregivers who live within the territory of the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal say that they feel the pressure of their role every day? And that pressure is even greater on those who must juggle work, family, and informal caregiving.
