The Plan d’action 2025–2028 à l’égard des personnes handicapées is now available for everyone. It sets out our commitments and concrete plans for improving accessibility and meeting the needs of people with disabilities.
According to the Office des personnes handicapées du Québec (OPHQ), the 180 action plans put forth across the province each year contain more than 4000 measures. These action plans contribute positively to the lives of disabled individuals and their families in many areas of life, including
- employment;
- communication;
- transportation;
- accessible infrastructures;
- access to public programs, measures, and services.
Our CIUSSS is proud to actively contribute to these positive and empowering outcomes for the people within our territory. As part of our responsibility to our territory and the community, we are committed to fighting all forms of discrimination related to a disability and to reducing the obstacles faced by people with disabilities, atypical conditions, or limitations (auditory, visual, physical, motor, or other).
We are committed to providing support that respects their dignity and their rights.
