This year the Nursing Directorate organized its third annual networking event for specialized nurse practitioners (SNP). The event was an opportunity for the nursing community to network, share expertise, and highlight the role of the SNP.
Held on May 13 at Quai 5160—Maison de la culture de Verdun, the event was a great success, with more than 80 SNPs and other nursing professionals in attendance. The focus was on the essential role SNPs play within our healthcare network. It also provided the opportunity to network and to inspire future nursing professionals.
Several CIUSSS colleagues gave presentations on innovative projects and inspiring practices in their fields of expertise. Collaborators from other institutions, including the CHUM and the CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest were also in attendance and presented some of their initiatives.
Thanks to Najia Hachimi-Idrissi, Associate President CEO, and Isabelle Caron, interim director of the Nursing Directorate, for their inspiring words, which resonated deeply with the SNP community.
Congratulations also go out to the gathering’s organizers for creating an event that helps to further develop the role of the SNP and strengthen professional connections across the nursing community.
