The ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable informs the public that access to Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants southbound from Highway 40 eastbound will be completely closed to traffic from October 20 to November 2. This closure is necessary to continue drainage work on Highway 40 as part of the construction of the new Île-aux-Tourtes bridge.
A complete closure of exit 41 (Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants) of Highway 40 eastbound will be in place on the nights of October 17 to 18 and October 19 to 20 in preparation for this work.
Traffic management
Nights of October 17 to 18 from 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. and October 19 to 20 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Complete closure of exit 41 (Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants) on Highway 40 eastbound.
- A marked detour will be set up via exit 50 (Boulevard St-Charles).
From October 20 to November 2 at 5 a.m.
- Closure of access to Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants southbound from Highway 40 eastbound.
- To access Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants, the public will be asked to use Exit 44 (Boulevard Morgan).
- Exit 41 (Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants) will remain open during this period to maintain access to northbound Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants and Chemin Ste-Marie.
This work may be postponed due to operational constraints or adverse weather conditions.
