Our Research Methodology Consultation Service is meant to support St. Mary`s Hospital Center (SMHC) clinicians, researchers and their trainees in developing their research and attaining both scientific excellence and clinical impact for the SMHC community.
This unique service is designed to empower the clinical and research community, by providing them with a methodologic support targeted at reaching scientific productivity. It ensures that the SMH remains a key player in advancing knowledge on best practices in community, proximity and patient-centered care, and further strengthens its academic mandate of SMHC.
The SMRC will provide support for eligible members of the St. Mary’s community who are conducting or plan to conduct research projects aimed at generating new knowledge, or research projects evaluating quality improvement processes by offering the following service lines:
- Methodological expertise
- Research ethics expertise
- Statistical analysis support
- Scientific/methodologic assessment (for decision makers and resource providers)
To optimize use of our Consultation Service, and to build the capacity for research at St. Mary’s among SMHC researchers and their trainees, the Consultation Service has developed a list of resources on various methodological topics. We welcome feedback on this list (e.g., resources that are no longer available). For questions or to suggest useful tools, please contact us.
