Services

The Batshaw Centres services are provided to the residents of the island of Montreal who wish to receive them in English and to the Jewish community of Montreal, in either English or French.

The Batshaw Youth and Family Centres provide psychosocial assessment and intervention services in the following contexts:

  • Adoption
  • Adoption disclosure
  • Reunification
  • Family mediation
  • Expert testimony in Superior Court for child custody cases

Services are provided primarily in accordance with :

  • The Youth Protection Act
  • the Youth Criminal Justice Act 
  • An Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services regarding the placement of children and youths.
