Effective November 16, 2023
Please note that due to the installation of a modular building on the Lakeshore General Hospital site, Parking Area P1 will remain closed for a few years.
Parking extensions have been created on the site to compensate for the loss of space.
Test Centre
Do not forget to bring:
- Your doctor's test request (please print it if you received it in electronic format)
- Your health insurance card
Ask your doctor if you have to fast or stop taking your medication prior to the test.

Emergency Department
Set-up of a Modular Building
In the coming months, the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal will be setting up a modular building at the Lakeshore General Hospital so that it can temporarily relocate the Emergency Department.
This is excellent news! The building will provide a modern environment that meets existing standards, is easier access, and ensures a safer environment in which to provide the community with a better quality of care and services.
