Parking pass

How do I obtain a parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation?

Simply make an appointment with the LaSalle Hospital Foundation by clicking here. During that appointment you will obtain your parking pass in a matter of minutes. A $10 deposit is required, reimbursable at the end of your agreement with the LaSalle Hospital Foundation.

The LaSalle Hospital Foundation will provide you with the link to the app for making your monthly payments shortly. You will then be able to make your payments from your cell phone, tablet, or laptop computer.

 

What will happen if I don’t have my new parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation by June 1, 2026?

Users can continue using the parking areas in front of the Hôpital de LaSalle (facing the Unité familiale des naissances or the Emergency Department) throughout June, while they obtain their parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation. Foundation staff members will be stationed at the parking kiosks to ensure smooth access to these two parking areas.

 

I use the parking areas at the back of the Hôpital de LaSalle. Will I be affected by the changes which took effect on June 1, 2026? 

Physicians, medical residents, employees with multi-site passes (employees who are based at a facility other than the Hôpital de LaSalle), families and, volunteers will have priority access to these parking areas. The terms of usage are unchanged.

If you don’t fall into one of these categories, you will need to get a new parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation by the end of June 2026.

 

I requested a parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation and I haven’t had a response. What should I do?

The LaSalle Hospital Foundation is doing everything it can to process requests as promptly as possible. To follow up on your request, contact the Foundation at 514-367-8613 or info@fondation-hopital-lasalle.ca.

 

Will the parking fees for the parking areas in front of the Hôpital de LaSalle increase?

Transferring management of the two parking areas in front of the Hôpital de LaSalle to the LaSalle Hospital Foundation will not affect the fees for this year. The rates indicated on the intranet under Monthly Parking Rates (taxes included) 2026–2027 are unchanged.

 

Why has the LaSalle Hospital Foundation not accepted my request?

If your request has not been accepted and you would like to know the reason, you can contact the Foundation at 514-367-8613 or info@fondation-hopital-lasalle.ca.

 

How many vehicles can I include in my subscription?

The parking pass issued by the LaSalle Hospital Foundation can be used with the vehicle of your choice. This means there is no limit on the number of vehicles, but it can only be used for one car at any given time.

 

If I don’t want to pay monthly, can I get a short-term parking pass, even if I work full-time at the Hôpital de LaSalle?

All parking passes are issued annually, and payments for access to the parking areas in front of the Hôpital de LaSalle are charged monthly. To cancel your subscription, you must contact the LaSalle Hospital Foundation.

 

Can I be ticketed if I don’t have a parking pass for the parking area I am using?

Yes. You can be ticketed. The payment procedure is explained on the ticket.

Payment

Are there costs associated with obtaining a parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation?

A $10 deposit is required, reimbursable at the end of your agreement with the LaSalle Hospital Foundation.

 

Will I be issued a receipt for my monthly preauthorized payments?

Yes, once you start your subscription you will receive a receipt each month by email.

 

If I don’t receive my monthly receipt, how can I obtain one?

Is the payment platform secure?

Yes, all parameters are secure and compliant with PCI DSS Level 1 standards (the highest levelin the industry).

 

How do I add, modify or delete the personal information related to my subscription online?

You will be able to modify your personal information using the online application (to come from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation).

 

Do I have to pay for parking from now on if I am a volunteer, a family member visiting a resident, or an informal caregiver in the residential unit at Hôpital de LaSalle? 
Your parking remains free of charge. However, you can only use the parking areas behind the hospital.

Using the parking areas

How will usage of the various parking areas be monitored?

Other than general parking users (users, visitors, etc.), only those with a parking pass from the LaSalle Hospital Foundation will be able to park in the two parking areas in front of the hospital.

 

I am changing my car/licence plate, or I am temporarily driving a courtesy car. What should I do?

For the parking areas behind the Hôpital de LaSalle, you must email the information on your parking pass (first and last name, employee number, card number) and the information describing your temporary vehicle (make, model, year, licence plate, how long you will be using it) to stationnement.comtl@ssss.gouv.qc.ca.

Electric vehicles

I drive an electric vehicle. Have the access procedures for the parking area charging stations changed?
There are no changes to the access procedures for the electric vehicle charging stations in any of the parking areas.

I am disabled. Will any of the changes affect me?

There are designated accessible parking spaces in all of the parking areas. The access procedures for parking spaces vary, depending on whether you use the parking areas in front or behind the hospital.

Wearing a mask is mandatory for users, visitors, and employees at our hospital centres in the following areas:

  • Acute Care (Care Units, Emergency Department);

  • Out-Patient Care (medical clinics, family medicine groups, and clinics located in hospital centres);

  • Mental health units and mental health Emergency Departments;

  • Rehabilitation.
