Aiming to be a model of excellence and a significant player in sustainable development in the health sector, our organization has made it a priority.
That is why our organization’s Sustainable Development Committee is proud to present its latest accomplishments in its 2025 report, which reflects our commitment to a more sustainable future for all.
Some highlights:
• Outreach activities that reached about one hundred people, including 65 students in an educational beekeeping program;
• Reducing food surplus by 8 tonnes;
• A total of 505 items reused through the Ecopartage platform;
• Composting project in development at four facilities;
• Coup de cœur Award from CIRAIG (Centre international de référence sur l’analyse du cycle de vie et la transition durable) for washable surgical masks;
• The return of washable gowns at the Lakeshore General Hospital (reducing the waste sent to landfills);
• More than 157 m³ of cardboard captured at multiple sites in 2025.
