As of today, the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal becomes Santé Québec Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal – Universitaire. This change is part of a process intended to harmonize the names of institutions within the health and social services network, so that the population has clearer, more consistent, and more easily recognizable reference points all across Québec. By grouping information under one shared identity, Santé Québec makes it easier to locate services and strengthens understanding of the network.
“A network that is easier to understand is a network that is easier to navigate. By harmonizing our names, we offer users clear and consistent reference points throughout Québec. This is the tangible expression of one network, one common mission, and one shared commitment to the population,” said Julie Lussier, vice-president, Public Affairs and Communications, Santé Québec.
