Recruiting –  Interpreters for the health and social services network

Are you fluent in one of the languages for which the Banque d’interprètes interpreter pool is recruiting? If so, become an interpreter!

Being able to fully understand information related to one’s care or services is essential. That’s why the Banque d’interprètes, the pool of interpreters that serves the health and social services network (RSSS), is looking to recruit individuals who can provide interpretation services in languages for which there is currently a high demand.

Interpretation services facilitate communication between staff across the network and allophone users. They help users to better understand information about their care, services, and the steps to be taken, while enabling them to give their informed consent when it comes to care and services.

At present, there is need for the following languages, among others: Greek, Kurdish-Kurmanji, Romanian, Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Hindi, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Khmer, Tamasheq, Burmese, Turkish and Russian.

Do you speak one of these languages? Do you know someone who might be interested? The health and social services network needs you.

Being understood changes everything.
