Prix Empreinte 2026: One of our very own projects honoured

We are pleased to share that a project led by our institution was recognized at Santé Québec’s Prix Empreinte awards. The event, held on June 3, at the CHU de Québec–Université Laval, was attended by more than 300 participants, both virtually and in-person.

The project, titled L’amélioration des soins en temps réel : utilisation d’horloges intelligentes au soutien à domicile, and spearheaded by the Home Care team – CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis, Home Care Services Directorate, was recognized in the category Transformation et impact organisationnel (Transformation and organizational impact) for having introduced 50 smart clocks into the homes of seniors. This initiative has helped seniors maintain their independence by making it easier for them to manage their medications.

This recognition celebrates:

  • Helping seniors maintain their independence
  • The need for fewer visits to assist with medication administration
  • The reallocation of resources to improve access for other users
  • The adoption of the tool by informal caregivers, promoting socialization

Owing to the team’s commitment and creativity, this project has successfully demonstrated the value of teamwork and its positive impact on both the users and members of the home care team.

Behind every initiative are dedicated teams that work tirelessly to improve practices. The Prix Empreinte celebrates the ability to turn ideas into actionable initiatives and tangible results for the population.

This award underscores the drive and expertise within our organization. It also highlights our ability to innovate, collaborate and continuously improve our practices.

We would like to sincerely congratulate everyone involved in the success of this project. What you accomplished is a source of inspiration for our institution and for the entire network.

Let’s continue to work together to develop initiatives that deliver real results.
