COVID-19: Launch of the spring 2026 vaccination campaign

  • Anyone aged 75 and older can make an appointment or show up without an appointment to get vaccinated.
  • Residents of long-term care facilities (CHSLDs) and private seniors’ residences (PSRs)  who did not receive a visit from a vaccination team can make an appointment or show up without an appointment to get vaccinated.

Important 

  • For the spring campaign, the COVID 19 vaccine is not free for people living with a chronic disease, nor is it free for healthy individuals, pregnant people or healthcare workers.
    • If you are between the ages of 12 and 74, check with your pharmacy or medical clinic to find out about the cost of the vaccine.
    • For children aged 6 months to 11 years, even though it is authorized, the COVID-19 vaccine is not available at pharmacies or medical clinics.

Vaccine administration

  • It is recommended that you wait 6 months before receiving a new dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The minimum interval between two doses is 3 months.
  • The COVID-19 and flu vaccines can be administered during the same appointment. No specific issues have been reported.

Want the COVID-19 and flu vaccines? Just ask for them when you’re there on site or when you make your appointment.  

Important  

  • Walk-in vaccination spots are limited. We recommend making an appointment.
  • Walk-in vaccinations end 30 minutes before our local points of service close.
