Centre d'hébergement de Lachine Foundation
The Fondation du Centre d’hébergement de Lachine was created in May 1997, and the Corporation propriétaire played a significant role in this inauguration. In its beginnings, the Foundation had 14 members, six of whom were previous members of the Corporation and eight occupied by recently interested members.
The Fondation du Centre d’hébergement de Lachine is an organisation that sponsors special activities for residents and funds the renewal of furnishings for the bedrooms or the physical layout of specific living units.
It also contributes to the improvement of the resident’s living standards by funding stimulation activities like music therapy and gardening or contributing to the rejuvenation of seniors’ living environment. The Foundation strives to create a quality living environment that meets the needs of residents.

Centre d’hébergement Denis-Benjamin-Viger Foundation
Since 1997, the Centre d’hébergement Denis-Benjamin-Viger Foundation has contributed to the improvement of the quality of life of the residents of the Centre d’hébergement and the Day Centre. It is an autonomous organization, run by its own board of directors, which is formed by volunteers recruited from the business community and within the centre.
It collects funds to finance, among other things, music-therapy, zoo therapy and gardening activities, as well as acquiring specialized and leisure equipment. It also helps at the local residents committee for the decoration and the purchase of gifts during various occasions.
