Lakeshore General Hospital

More than 1,200 births each year take place at the Lakeshore General Hospital.  The Birthing Unit is located on the 2^nd floor.

The unit has 10 birthing rooms and 12 rooms in the postpartum unit, all in private rooms.

8 am to 8 pm

Restrictions :

• Two visitors at a time.
• Children are not allowed on the unit (with the exception of the newborn’s siblings).

• Gestational Diabetes Clinic
• Pediatric Clinic
• Asthma Clinic
